Intel Macs are not supported. The Mac build runs on Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) only. There is no Rosetta or emulator workaround. On an Intel Mac, use the Windows version on a PC, or email me for a refund.
Heads-up on first launch: Cut Valet downloads its AI runtime and models once. Budget 10 to 20 GB in total, depending on which analysis engines you use; they arrive over the first few sessions rather than all at once. If your boot drive is tight, you can point them at an external drive under Settings, Folders, AI Model Storage. After that, everything runs locally. All releases: version history.
After downloading
- macOS: open the download (DMG or zip) and drag Cut Valet to Applications. Windows: run the downloaded installer (or, if you grabbed the zip, unzip it anywhere and run Cut Valet.exe).
- Open the app and enter the license key from your purchase email when asked (or in Settings).
